Modular Office Trailers are some of the best utilized space that you can use.  There are numerous positives to using these buildings.  Now, I know there are still some people out there that hear the word "trailers" and instantly think that they are substandard structures.  But nothing could be further from the truth, especially now.  I can tell you that anything that can be dreamt about can be built utilizing modulars!

I have been a Setup Contractor for the Modular Industry for over 15 years.  So I am going to bring a little bit different perspective than you will typically come across reading articles on the internet.  I have been performing setups, teardowns or knockdowns and service for this industry all over the Northeast.  In subsequent articles I am not only going to go over different uses for modulars but I am going to share with you how a modular trailer is typically setup or torndown so you will have an idea what to expect if you already plan to have a modular that is going to be setup or torndown at your site.

              Mobility
              Cost effectiveness
              Timing issues

So let’s dive into the above a little more.

Mobility  -  Modular Office Trailers or "Portable" Trailers make for a sound business decision.  The fact that these can be hauled to any jobsite and setup in a matter of hours makes it such a "No Brainer" when it comes to office space.  It has all the perks of a regular office space that could be rented, but can also be put at any location in very little time.  Then, when you are done with the use of it at your site, you just take a couple of hours to break it down and then move it to a holding yard or right over to your next site.

Cost Effectiveness  -  Portable Trailers typically are less per sq. ft. to rent.  They can be equipped with anything you would have in a permanent office space.  They also have many options to fit any need that you could need.  If you have a temporary office or offices, some of your furniture and other items can be left inside the unit for transfer, costing less man hours to move.

Timing Issues  -  When it comes to Mobile Trailers, many times it could take you only a day or two to fill out the needed paperwork to rent or lease a trailer.  Then it is just a matter of scheduling a delivery date.  When you are in a pinch, these trailers are the way to go.

Today, Modular Trailers can be built into anything that can be accomplished by "stick building".  And with that being said, there are many advantages to going with these types of buildings.
For starters, Modulars are all built in a factory setting, thus, being built inside away from the elements.  It’s resembles an assembly line and everything is done in stages.  Also, because they are built in a factory setting, there are no delays due to inclimate weather which makes for faster turn around.

These can be either temporary or permanent spaces.  They can also be as small as an 8x16 or as big as you can imagine.  Many other uses for these trailers are listed below.

              Office Space
              Sales Office
              Classroom
              Healthcare Facilities
              Government

              Commercial/Retail
